Agent Zero is back!

I'm really glad that my idle Gilbert Arenas is back in the line up of the Washington Wizards, for almost a year that he didn't play because of the knee injury that he got last year. And in his absence last season and almost a season this year made his team also struggling as they are on the bottom of the south east standings with the record of 17 wins with 58 losses.

Last Friday, I watched the game between the Washington Wizards and the Detroit Pistons, his first game since he injured his knee, he do played 28 minutes Arenas dime up the Pistons, getting lay ups and dunks for teammates, and despite going 3 for 12 on the floor and scoring 15 points through his usual array of treys, drives, step back jumpers and free throws. I can see it that he still not in his regular shape as he got blown by Rodney Stuckey and not putting pressure on the ball leading to a six points total open jumpers by Rip Hamilton.

And at the last seconds of the game, where the Wizards down by three Arenas drifted ever so slightly to the left when receiving an inbounds pass instead of shooting the gap straight up the middle, where two teammates were building a wall for him to have an open look at a 3-pointer. That allowed the trailing Hamilton to give a foul. "The best part of this is that I actually stuck to the program of rehabbing," Arenas said afterward. "My leg is 10 times stronger than before ... at the end of the day, I had to find out where [my knee] is at." That's Gilbert's statement after the game.

Arenas is really important in the team of Wizards, this previous seasons with his leadership together with Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison they took the Wizards in the playoffs. I'm hoping that next season will be a great season for Gilbert and for the Wizards franchise, and his knee injury will totally healed. Welcome back Agent Zero!.

Strong Finished for Brawn Mercedes

The season opening of the Formula one in Melbourne Australia won by the new F1 team the Brawn Mercedes. Jensen Button took the checquered flag under safety car condition in a race that full of drama, and Ruben Barrichello took second place finished as a debut in F1 racing in Melbourne Grand Prix.

The Brawn team's front row qualifying confirmed a very unusual-looking grid on Saturday, particularly as World Champion Lewis Hamilton started the race at the back following a five-place penalty for a gearbox change. Toyota elected to start its cars from the pit lane after Glock and Trulli were also relegated for running illegal, flexible rear wing elements during qualifying. Button pulled away while his teammates Ruben Barrichelo settled in the seventh place, Button then had stretched by a large four seconds lead at the end of the first lap. Followed by Vettel and Massa at the end of the lap, while Barrichelo still battled for the fourth spot with Kubica. At the fourth lap of the race safety car was deployed as Nazuki Nakajima's Williams lost control and having a heavy impact with the wall and took off the car's front end.

Lewis Hamilton of Mclaren Mercedes from 18th at the start, eleven at the end of the second lap. Hamilton charged at the late stages of the race and finished strong at the third position. While both of the Ferrari's cars having a frustrating day with Massa and later followed by Raikkonen retiring their cars at the garage and was an another disastrous Grand Prix for the team. The race was brought to a dramatic close as the battle for second place intensified with just a handful of laps remaining; jostling for second, a collision between Kubica and Vettel at Turn 3 saw both cars inlocking wheels and ending up on the grass before each having their own accidents at Turn 5 as a result of the damage done, ending their races just three laps from home. With the safety car deployed, the German circulated with an errant left-front wheel, only to pull off on the approach to Turn 11 a lap later. With the safety car deployed again, an off for Jarno Trulli at Turn 15 resulted in the Toyota driver then retaking his podium position from Lewis Hamilton - with the race still under safety conditions - which is likely to cause a stir. While the race winner Jensen Button finished the race with a wide margin over the second placed fellow Brawn Ruben Barrichello.

The San Miguel Beermen is Unstoppable this Seaso

In this conference the Motolite Fiesta Conference is still undefeated in their last six outings. After the game last Wednesday where they beat their sister team the Ginebra Gin Kings at the Araneta Coliseum, in the first three quarters the Gin Kings keep it with a close margin but in the final quarter the Beermen escaped with a wide margin with a lot of fire powers coming from Dondon Hontiveros, Jay Washington, and their import.

This is the best start of the San Miguel since 2004 and the longest winning streak since the 2005 fiesta conference at eight games in the elimination round which the Beermeen won their title. This conference the Beermen playing a solid basketball despite the absence of some of their key players like Danny Seigle, Danny Ildefonso, Lordy Tugade and Marc Pingris. The difference of the team last year was that they are playing more as a team this time, and bench players are stepping up in the absence of their key players.

Here are what the Beermen have done well to create this early run which will be helpful in a tournament with fewer classification games. PLAY BIG—Even without the bulk of its frontline, San Miguel still has Dorian Peña, Mick Pennisi and Jay Washington to provide muscle inside. FREELANCE WITH FREEMAN—San Miguel opened its conference bid without an import. But when Gabe Freeman arrived, the Beermen found a versatile import who can score, rebound and run with them. He has averaged over 20 points, 12 rebounds and at least one assist per game. LAY ZONE WHEN NECESSARY—The Beermen can play a mean zone when they want to thwart incursions by opponents. This can be upsetting to teams that have great individual players. In a 122-103 blowout win against Purefoods, San Miguel mixed the zone with other defenses to frustrate the TJ Giants. It didn’t help that the Giants’ outside sniping took an unscheduled vacation that day. DELIVER WHOEVER—Villanueva had two big games for the Beermen, then Washington, Gonzales and Hontiveros had their own big nights. Against Coca-Cola, Gonzales had 20 points, eight rebounds and two assists, proving that anyone can erupt for San Miguel.

If the Beermen keep doing it this entire conference I think no one could defeat them and maybe will win the Fiesta Cup.

Williams BMW the fastes in the Australian Grand Prix Practice

Williams's Nico Rosberg clocked the fastest practice lap for the third session in a row in Melbourne before the real business of qualifying begins.

Williams BMW skipper Nico Roseberg finished first on the practice lap in the third season of the F1 in Melbourne, Australia, Ferrari's Felipe Massa was fourth and the first 11 cars bettered Lewis Hamilton's pole time in 2008. The last year F1 world champion showed improvement but finished only at the number twelve position. n the final practice session before qualifying starts at 0600 GMT, the three teams who Ferrari, Red Bull and Renault are protesting about continually set the pace - mirroring the two sessions on Friday. At various points throughout the hour-long session, Brawn GP drivers Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello, along with Toyota drivers Timo Glock and Jarno Trulli, led.

But Rosberg came through towards the end of his 21 laps to steal the quickest time from Italian Trulli in one minute 25.808 seconds. That was nearly a second faster than the 1:26.714 Hamilton recorded to register pole position last year in Melbourne. The fact that 11 drivers went quicker in the session than in 2008 qualifying, along with the times from Friday, was surprising given that the new raft of regulations was supposed to slow the cars down.

The Bull wants rematch with the Filipino Flash

Still the Raging Bull Vic Darchinyan is eager to have a rematch with "The Filipino Flash" Nonito Donaire the only opponent that blemished his career by a tremendous knockout. Darchinyan statement last week that he wants to do a rematch with Donaire in the Bantamwieght division and now challenging Donaire to move up in weight. The raging bull also said that if he will move up to the bantamweight and win a title and Nonito will also win a title in the same division, he thinks that a fight between them will going to happen. From now days Vic still remembered that knockout loss to Donaire on July 7, 2007, he said he will ask his promoter Gary Show who happened to be Donaire's former promoter to arrange the fight to take revenge to his only loss in hs career.

Meanwhile, Nonito Donaire is currently training in Baguio City for his title defense this coming April 19, 2009 at the Araneta Coliseum, said that he will finish firtst this fight with Ramirez and think about his future fight mybe with Darchinyan, he also expressed that if that will happened his confident that he will beat again the knockout artist from Australia.

Donaire said that he wants o move up in weight after his fight with Ramirez, if that's the way to take a big rematch with Darchinyan happen becaue this is the fight that really the fans want to see. “I will talk to Gary Shaw and he will make a fight with Donaire. What I want in the future is to fight Nonito Donaire and Gary Shaw knows that,” said Darchinyan who said he might fight IBF world bantamweight champion Joseph Agbeko next for another title.

But many boxing observers said that the boxing style of Darchinyan won't work with the speed, power and counter punchng ability of Nonito Donaire. But we will see if what Darchinyan got if this match will really could happened.

Hatton Can't Match the p4p king

Paquiao is looking for his forth victory in four different divisions. The Pacman is already on the list of the boxing Hall of Fame, but this win with the Hitman will surely add extra bragging rights to fight the best boxer in the world Floyd "the money" Mayweather.

Manny last figh with Oscar Dela hoya "The Dream Match" it was his speed was the factored in that fight and Oscar didn't expect that Pacman is faster than he thought. In this match-up the advantage of Manny will be his reach and speed, Hatton is an inch taller but a two inch shorter than Manny's reach mybe could this be one of the factors for Manny victory. I also watched some of the fighs of the Hitman and I'm not impressed with his performance, Hatton has a crisp and powerful punches but not as good as Manny when it comes to boxing ability. The Hitman has a good chance to win over Manny if he does the way he fought Jose Luis Castillo. In that fight he patiently worked on the body and as everone knows one of Manny's waterloo is he's lower body, and in that fight he knocked out the durable Castillo. It can happen to this fight, body shots are well part of toda's sports science tactics.

The question is which Hitman will show up in thier coming fight? And how he's rough and a little bit diryt againts the speed, ability and power of the king. We can answer this through their coming fights if who's tactics will become effective in the fight. One opponent of Manny that I can compare with Hatton with size and tactics is Diaz the difference is that Hatton is more powerful than Diaz. And I can see in this fight Manny will do the to Hatton of what he did to Diaz. Manny is just too past and too clever for Hatton.

This is another great boxing match to watch.

Murray and Nadal dominating the game; Federrer out of the Picture

Now, Murray replaced Roger Federrer as the top rival of world number one Rafael Nadal of Spain.

With the last week tournament the PNB Paribas in Indian Wells, California, were Rafael Nadal and Murray meet in the finals of that tournament and Nadal won the title. In the semifinal Murray defeated the world number two Roger federrer easily with the scores of 6-2, 6-7, 6-1.

This season of the ATP the Spaniards and the Scot's have the most success, Murray standing of 20-2, while the Spaniards is just one game behind of Murray with 19-2, before Murray loss to Nadal in PNB Paribas tournament he also defeated Nadal twice in the US Open and in Rotterdam. This year Andy Murray is More focused than last year as he is playing with consistency this year and on a higher level of tennis.

Whiel Federrer is still well in the mix and only needs a title or two to get his world No. 2 game back into gear, the pressure is on the Swiss this week in Miami while Murray and Nadal is increasing their confidence after a good start this year.

The Powerhouse USA still the number one basketball team in the world after dominating the previous Olympic games in Beijing China earning a total points of 876. The German team of Dirk Nowitzki is on the eight spot, behind them are Australia and Italy. And from twelve spot last rankings the China is now on the 1oth spot with of course Yao Ming leading them.

Our Philippine team is ranked 63 out of the 73 countries who are FIBA members, it is a surprise to us because our team is the current SEABA champion, depending SEA games gold medalist and finishing sixth in the Asian Games. The race in the East is getting tighter

This coming Friday the Cleveland Cavaliers of Lebron Jamees will goes up against the depending champion Boston Celtics lead by their mighty trio of Garnett, Allen and Pierce.

Everyone expect that could be the preview of the Eastern conference finals this coming June, as this two teams are the top seeded teams in the east, so everyone expected this as a great game.

I'm waiting this game and kind excited watching the game.

With Lebron and his troops going to Boston Garden with the best record this season in the entire game, and Lebron is playing his best season together with their newly acquired point guard Mo Williams who became an all star this season, could be a great challenge to the depending champs.

But I'm sure that the Celtics will give the Cavaliers a great game, with KG is now back to the rotation with Rondo who is healthy right now, and two of the big three Allen and Pierce who carry the team when Garnett was being injured are playing a terrific game this past months.

Match up to watch in this game are Pierce and James together with Rondo and Williams.
Game time at 8 am Philippine time.
