The Aviva British Graqnd Prix will take place at Gateshead International Stadium on August 31, 2009. It will be the final event of the UKA outdoor athletic season.
One of the headline of the event is the first ever appearance at the Gateshead International Stadium of the new darling of British athletics Jessica Enis. Also in attendance at the Aviva British Grand Prix will be six members of Britain’s world championship medal-winning men’s relay teams – 4 x 100m team members Tyrone Edgar, Marlon Devonish and Harry Aikines-Aryeetey will be celebrating their World Championship bronze medals with the Gateshead crowd, while 4 x 400m relay members Michael Bingham, Rob Tobin and Martyn Rooney will be showing off their World silver titles.
